About Robin
Robin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania, and her MSW from Simmons in 2006. Ms. Strickman received advanced post-graduate training at Children’s Hospital in Boston, working with children and adolescents with Neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, specific learning disabilities, and others. She worked for over 10 years in a variety of public schools (high needs and diverse populations) delivering both individual and group therapy.
Ms. Strickman has extensive experience working with clients who have ADHD and those with Autism Spectrum disorders. She has worked with many clients and their families on issues surrounding anxiety, school adjustment, trauma, attachment, and depression. Ms. Strickman believes in using a practical problem-solving approach integrating play, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness elements into therapy. Interventions are tailored to each child/adolescent’s needs but usually include strengthening emotional regulation skills.
